How do I order a personalised heart?

We have one product listing for our personalised hearts, which can be ordered in any breed and colour. Please complete the three boxes for name, breed and coat colour. You also have the option to upload reference photos, we do recommend reference photos are provided for mixed breeds and unusual coat colourings.

My dog is a mixed breed/unusual colour, can I order a personalised heart?

Yes. If your dog is of unusual colouring or mixed breed we strongly recommend providing a reference photo. We will create your heart to the most possible likeness.

Can you make a custom breed 'All you need is love' heart?

We are currently in the process of adding a personalised option to out 'All you need is love' hearts, this will be available soon!

How long do orders take to make and dispatch?

Our current turnaround time for all items is 1-2 weeks. Please remember our items are handmade to order ceramics, this is a long complex process which cannot be rushed!

When will my order be delivered?

We have two delivery options at checkout. Our standard shipping starts at 99p, your order will be delivered by Royal Mail(2nd Class) in around 3-5 working days(please remember this does not include Sundays and bank holidays). Tracked shipping is available with Royal Mail/EVRI, please select this option at checkout if you would like to track your order, as this is not included in our standard shipping option.

International shipping - around 6-7 Business days. Please allow additional time in case of any delays at customs.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship to the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. We no longer ship to Europe due to new GPSR rules. 

Do you take rush orders?

We don’t take rush orders at this time. All orders are strictly subject to our current turnaround times.

Do you close for Christmas and New Year?

Although we never stop taking orders, we do typically shut down production for a couple of weeks at the end of December. If you place an order during this time, we will get to it as soon as we can :)

I haven't received a confirmation email, can you help?

Please remember to check your email address or phone number is correct when ordering to receive updates on your order. We also recommend creating an account at checkout so you can view your orders progress. Please also bear in mind that if you place your order with a phone number, you will not receive a confirmation email. 

Where are you based?

We are based in North Northumberland, England. 

Do you supply trade/wholesale orders?

We are currently closed for trade applications. Please email us at hello@daveanddandelion.co.uk to be added to our waitlist.

A note on our handmade products - Each of our hearts is individually crafted from scratch, making every piece genuinely unique. Because we work by hand rather than machine, you may notice natural variations in colours and markings compared to the images on our website.

These small differences are part of the beauty of handmade ceramics. Slight imperfections, gentle variations in glaze, and subtle differences in shape aren't flaws - they're the fingerprints of the handmaking process and proof that real human hands created your piece with care. No two hearts are exactly alike, which means yours is truly one of a kind.
